As the saying goes, ‘everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day!” That was the idea on Monday when GreenFields of Geneva held its first St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl. Transforming the senior living community’s Friendship Hall into an Irish wonderland, individual ‘pubs’ were created for the event, with clever names including O’GreenFields, Pint Pursuit, Murphy’s Pub, Paul’s Tap, and Leprechaun Lounge.
Residents were able to partake in various alcoholic and non-alcoholic brews, while enjoying Irish music, themed snacks and ‘luck of the Irish’ friendships.
